The Kingston Outdoor Adventure Club is a volunteer-based, Non-Profit Organization that participates in outdoor (and sometimes indoor) adventures in South Eastern Ontario, Northern US, Quebec and beyond. We are an inclusive, welcoming group who look forward to meeting more people interested in active outdoor adventures.
We believe mixing ages, genders, and cultures during events will lead to a strong healthy club and a strong healthy community. Everyone has something to offer, and something to learn. Therefore, participation in KOAC events is based only on members’ abilities. If you can keep up, you can join the adventure. Please be sure to refer to our level system. Children are encouraged and welcome when it makes sense for their abilities, and when accompanied by an adult. Guardians must ensure children can keep up to the pace of the group or be willing to separate from the group to participate at their child's pace.
Well behaved dogs are welcome unless otherwise indicated on an event, dog owners must respect the rules of which ever park / area we are in.
From time to time we may also promote Community events and Volunteer opportunities; those events may or may not have KOAC organizers in attendance.
